FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo. – Two people died and two others were seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a crash in Washington.
The Washington Police Department reported the crash happened around 2:13 p.m. on Highway 100, just west of West Pride Drive, involving a Ford F-150 and a Ford Maverick.
Police said the vehicles collided head-on. The Ford F-150 driver, a 78-year-old man from New Haven, and the Ford Maverick driver, a 66-year-old man from Bloomington, Ill., were pronounced dead at the scene.
Two passengers in the Ford Maverick were taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
