Police Searching for Suspect in Saratoga McDonald’s Robbery

SARATOGA, N.Y. (WNYT) – Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed a McDonald’s in Saratoga on Thursday evening.

The incident occurred around 6:25 p.m. at the Church Avenue location, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.

Ballston Spa Mayor Frank Rossi said a local resident was injured during the robbery but is recovering.

The suspect is described as a white man, about 6 feet 3 inches tall with long brown hair, wearing a long-sleeved white T-shirt and blue jeans. He was last captured on video around 7:40 p.m. on Garrett Lane in the town of Ballston.

Police are using a helicopter to aid in the search.
