MACEDONIA, Ohio — The Macedonia Fire Department is mourning the death of Lisa Morris, wife of FireMedic Dave Morris, who was killed in an ATV accident in West Virginia on Friday evening, according to Fire Chief Brian Ripley.
Chief Ripley said Dave Morris sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and has been transferred to a Cleveland hospital for treatment.
“It is with a very heavy heart that I share the tragic news of the passing of Lisa Morris,” Ripley said in a statement. “We ask everyone to keep Dave and his family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this heartbreaking time.”
Ripley described Morris as a dedicated and respected member of the department, admired for his professionalism and kindness.
