MORAVIA, N.Y. — Police have arrested a 28-year-old man from Moravia after investigating the theft of a tractor from a local trailer park, charging him with felony third-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
According to New York State Police, troopers responded to Ted’s Way Trailer Park in Moravia on October 22 after the park manager reported that a 1993 Kubota 2250 tractor had been stolen during the early morning hours of October 21.
A day later, the park’s owner received a social media tip about the tractor’s possible location and contacted authorities. Troopers then went to a residence on Poverty Lane in Sempronius, where they discovered tractor parts matching the stolen Kubota’s description.
