INDIANA — Authorities are investigating after two people were found dead inside a home in LaGrange County on Saturday in what investigators believe was a murder-suicide.
Deputies responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 3000 block of S. State Road 5 in Topeka. Shortly after their arrival, a family member discovered the bodies of a man and a woman inside the home.
The victims were identified as 70-year-old Rafael Flores and 70-year-old Deonicia Marroquin Flores.
Officials said details remain limited but confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation is ongoing.
