Pleasant Sunday with a Light Breeze in the Philadelphia Area: Weather Forecast

Hopefully, you remembered to set your clocks back an hour last night and enjoyed the extra sleep — though it does mean Sunday’s sunset arrives early at 4:57 p.m.

Today brings pleasant weather with a light southwest breeze and highs reaching into the 60s. Clouds will increase Sunday night as a weak coastal low forms off the Mid-Atlantic. This system may bring a few light showers from the city southeastward early Monday, but nothing heavy or severe — just a gloomy, damp commute for some areas. A cold front moves through Monday night, bringing sunshine and seasonable temperatures back by Tuesday.

That system could also produce a few showers across southern New Jersey and Delaware on Monday, but again, they will be light and brief. After the cold front passes Monday night, sunny and seasonable weather returns Tuesday.

High pressure keeps the rest of the week quiet and comfortable. A weak disturbance may bring a brief chance of light showers Wednesday night. Temperatures stay near normal for early November, and another cold front may approach late Friday before cooler, drier air moves in for the weekend.
