AURORA, Ill. — Police are investigating a violent crash in Aurora early Thursday that tore a car into three pieces on the city’s west side.
The wreck occurred on Spruce Lane near Highland Avenue, just down the road from West Aurora High School, according to Aurora police.
Details about injuries or fatalities have not yet been released, and investigators are still working to determine what caused the crash.
Authorities said a news release with additional information is expected later Thursday morning.
