NORTHEAST MIAMI-DADE, FLA. (WSVN) — A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot during a possible road rage incident in Northeast Miami-Dade, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said they responded to reports of a shooting linked to road rage near Ives Dairy Road and Northeast 15th Avenue around 6:15 p.m. The victim, a man shot in the upper back, was able to drive himself to Jackson North Medical Center. Officials said he is in stable condition.
The man also told deputies that while his vehicle was parked outside the hospital, someone unknown got into it and drove off in an unknown direction.
A woman involved in the incident had her vehicle struck, but she was not injured.
Authorities have not released details about any suspects connected to the possible road rage shooting or the apparent car theft.
