ILLINOIS — Police are investigating after a man died from apparent gunshot wounds following a late-night crash, according to the Springfield Police Department.
Officers were called at 10:47 p.m. to the 2400 block of S. 13th Street for a report of a vehicle that had crashed into a garage. When they arrived, they found a man inside the vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
