A Broward County mother was arrested on a felony charge after she allegedly threatened to attack an elementary school principal in front of her two children, according to court documents obtained by Local 10 News.
The incident happened Friday at Charles Drew Elementary School in Pompano Beach. A Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest report states that 34-year-old Iesha Nicole Bell approached the principal in a “hostile and aggressive manner,” yelling profanity, flailing her arms and making a fist.
“I’m going to f— you up and everyone up,” Bell allegedly told the principal, who said Bell got so close that she invaded her personal space. Deputies also noted that Bell had made earlier threats that day, saying she planned to come to the school and fight the principal. The report does not say what sparked her anger.
Deputies said Bell resisted arrest and now faces multiple charges, including assault on a school employee, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and disorderly conduct.
Bell, who is on probation until 2040 for a 2019 accessory-after-the-fact conviction tied to a Lauderhill shooting involving her boyfriend, is also accused of violating that probation. As of Tuesday, she remained in jail without bond.
