MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 53-year-old man is facing multiple charges after a hit-and-run crash and being found in possession of a stolen firearm.
On Nov. 27, Antonio Tzintzun, a Mexico-born resident of southern Miami-Dade, failed to stop at a stop sign following a collision at Southwest 344 Street and 212 Avenue, according to a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office arrest report.
During the investigation, deputies spotted a stolen gun on the passenger seat. Tzintzun reportedly told officers he used the firearm “at work in a nursery to scare away the animals.”
Tzintzun was booked at the Metrowest Detention Center on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement hold and faces charges including:
