FLORIDA CITY, Fla. — A man is in critical condition after being shot multiple times in Florida City Monday morning, police said.
Officers responded to the 1400 block of Northwest Second Avenue and found the victim with gunshot wounds to the shoulder and abdomen. Police began life-saving measures until Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived.
The man was airlifted to Jackson South Medical Center in critical but stable condition and remains intubated, according to investigators.
No witnesses have been identified, and detectives have not named any suspects. Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-8477.
