MIAMI-DADE, Fla. — Miami-Dade deputies responding to a 911 call about an injured person discovered a man and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds at a home in the 17000 block of Southwest 153rd Court early Saturday afternoon. Both died at the scene, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue confirmed.
The call came in around 1 p.m., according to Detective Samantha Choon, a Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman. Deputies found the victims bleeding from gunshot wounds upon arrival.
Details about the shooter or the circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been released. Homicide detectives are investigating and are considering the possibility that the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.
“The investigation is still in its infancy, so we don’t have that information,” Choon said.
