The Florida Missing Child Alert for 12-year-old Isaiah Edwards has been canceled after authorities confirmed he has been located and is safe, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Original report: Law enforcement issued the alert after Isaiah went missing from a Jacksonville neighborhood. He was last seen near the intersection of Argyle Forest Boulevard and Staples Mill Drive.
Police described Isaiah as 4 feet, 9 inches tall and about 90 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time he disappeared, he was wearing a gray uniform shirt, khaki pants, and a white puffer jacket, and may have been carrying a black Nike backpack.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office thanked the public for their assistance during the search.
