O’Fallon police have detained a person of interest after a woman was found dead inside a home Saturday afternoon.
Officers were called around 1:30 p.m. to a residence in the 1300 block of Bossler Lane, according to police.
When officers arrived, they found a woman deceased inside the home.
In a press release, the department said a person of interest is currently in custody in connection with the investigation, though no charges have been filed at this time.
Police did not release details about the woman’s identity or the cause of her death.
