MIRAMAR, Fla. — Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a fatal triple shooting at a gas station earlier this week.
Authorities said 28-year-old J’Shaun Williams, who is currently hospitalized, has been officially charged and is now in the custody of the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
A third suspect who fled the scene remains at large, and police are asking for the public’s help in locating them.
The shooting occurred at a Sunoco gas station on Pembroke Road and DeSoto Drive. Surveillance video shows a man approaching a Mercedes parked at a gas pump, speaking to two men nearby, before gunfire erupted within a minute. Another video appears to show an altercation before the shooting.
Police confirmed that 19-year-old Christian Corea was killed. Two others were injured, including one of the men involved in the shooting and an innocent bystander. Authorities continue to search for the remaining suspect.
