Aldi continues to expand in Florida, offering affordable, high-quality groceries and convenient pickup and delivery options. After opening a new location on October 2, 2025, at 5428 Dogwood Drive in Milton, two more stores are set to open on October 9 in Jacksonville and New Port Richey.
What Makes Aldi Different
Aldi keeps things simple to maintain low prices: no frills, coupons, in-store delis or bakeries, pharmacies, or loyalty programs. Shoppers bag their own groceries, and the shelves focus on store-brand products instead of national brands.
Grand opening events include gift bags and gift cards for the first 100 customers, and shoppers can register to win a $500 Aldi gift card (registration closes October 5).
Aldi’s Expansion Plans
Aldi plans to open 225 new stores across the U.S. in 2025, the most in a single year, with a goal of adding 800 locations by 2028. Florida is a major focus, with over 30 stores already opened this year, many converted from former Winn-Dixie locations.
New Aldi Branding
On September 24, Aldi introduced its own “Aldi” brand label, adding “An ALDI Original” stickers to existing private brands like Clancy’s, Simply Nature, and Specially Selected. This rebrand aims to make products easier to recognize.

Among the 19 planned Florida locations, the stores opening October 9 are:

Other Florida Aldi locations include Bushnell, Deerfield Beach, Englewood, Fort Lauderdale, Gainesville, Leesburg, Lehigh Acres, Naples, North Fort Myers, Orlando, Ormond Beach, Palm Harbor, Port Saint John, Sarasota, and St. Petersburg, with more conversions from Winn-Dixie planned through 2026.
