Quad Cities, IA/IL — Quiet and seasonable November weather continues through the second half of the weekend. Today brings mostly clear skies and a light breeze, with afternoon highs in the upper 40s to lower 50s, generally 48–53°F. Sunshine will dominate, creating ideal conditions for outdoor errands, late-fall cleanup, or simply enjoying the cool, pleasant air.
Winds will stay light, and no precipitation is expected today or tonight. Visibility will remain excellent across eastern Iowa and western Illinois.
Looking ahead to Monday, changes begin to move in. A developing system to the west will bring increasing cloud cover by afternoon. Temperatures will again be near mid-November normals, with highs ranging from 49–56°F. While Monday stays dry during the day, conditions turn more unsettled late in the evening.
From Monday night into early Tuesday morning, a weak disturbance will slide through the region, bringing light rain to much of the Quad Cities. Rainfall amounts should remain minimal, but damp roads may affect the Tuesday morning commute. By Tuesday afternoon, rain chances taper off, allowing for partial clearing. Despite a cloudy start, temperatures will reach between 45–61°F.
The pattern steadies again on Wednesday, which looks dry with highs in the upper 40s to upper 50s and light winds. No major weather systems are expected midweek.
Overall, expect quiet weather today, increasing clouds Monday, light rain Monday night into Tuesday, and a return to calm conditions by midweek.
