Boston is in for a wet start to the week as scattered showers and patchy fog move across the area. The National Weather Service forecasts a 60% chance of rain beginning after 4 p.m., with wind gusts up to 21 mph and temperatures in the mid-50s — damp but seasonable for early November.
According to Boston 25 News, the showers will continue overnight and into Monday under cloudy skies, with highs staying in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will shift from the south to the northeast during the morning, gradually reducing rain chances to 40% by evening. Overnight temperatures are expected to drop to around 33°F, bringing a chilly, mostly clear night.
Veterans Day on Tuesday will bring mostly sunny skies, though gusty winds up to 32 mph will usher in colder air. Highs will struggle to reach the upper 30s to low 40s, marking a clear sign that winter is approaching.
The rest of the week should provide a break from the rain, featuring a mix of sun and clouds with steady highs in the mid to upper 40s. By Friday night, skies will clear and lows will dip into the low 30s. Saturday’s forecast calls for sunshine and a high near 45°F, offering a crisp but pleasant late-fall day in Boston.
