DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Davenport man has been arrested for his involvement in a fight during the Red, White and Boom event in July.
According to a criminal complaint filed in Scott County Court, Davenport Police were on duty at the event near the Ground Transportation Center in downtown Davenport on July 3. A large group began fighting and moved northbound on Ripley Street. Multiple fights broke out, and officers used pepper spray to disperse the crowd. Less than a minute later, another fight erupted in the same area.
