A driver is in critical condition after a two-car crash on Route 17 in Orange County, according to police.
The collision occurred in Wallkill around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, on Route 17 East near Exit 116. When officers arrived, they discovered that one of the drivers had suffered serious injuries, the Town of Wallkill Police Department said.
Town of Wallkill Emergency Medical Services took the injured driver to Garnet Health Medical Center, where police said the individual remains in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and no further details have been released.
