Wantage — An injured 4-year-old has died after State Police responded to a call for a “medical assist” on Tuesday afternoon.
A State Police spokesman said troopers found the child unresponsive at a home on South Shore Drive around 12:30 p.m. The house sits inside a residential development along Lake Neepaulin. The child later died.
Wantage, located just south of the New York State border, is covered by State Police.
Authorities did not disclose details about the child’s injuries.
