WOODFORD COUNTY (25News Now) – A Knox County man has been arrested after allegedly attempting to meet a minor.
According to Woodford County Police, 36-year-old Michael Briggs of Gilson was taken into custody on November 22 after traveling to meet someone he believed was a 15-year-old.
Briggs faces four felony charges, including indecent solicitation, grooming, and traveling to meet a minor. He is currently being held in the Woodford County Jail as he awaits his first court appearance.
