OMAHA, Neb. — A man was found dead early Wednesday following a shooting in Omaha’s Midtown neighborhood.
Police said they responded to reports of gunfire near 35th and Davenport streets around 4:20 a.m. When officers arrived, they discovered a man lying in the street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Omaha Police Homicide Unit is investigating the incident. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity or details about possible suspects.
