Florida City, FL — Miami Hurricanes defensive back Bryce Fitzgerald was reportedly the victim of an armed robbery at a short-term rental in Florida City early Saturday, according to police.
Officers were called to an Airbnb around 3 a.m. following a report of a robbery involving multiple armed suspects.
Investigators said Fitzgerald was attending a party at the rental home when several suspects allegedly forced their way inside while carrying rifles. During the incident, the suspects reportedly stole jewelry from Fitzgerald before fleeing.
Police said no one was physically injured. The suspects left the scene before officers arrived, and no arrests have been announced as of the latest update.
Detectives continue to review evidence, interview witnesses, and search for surveillance footage in the area. Authorities have not released detailed descriptions of the suspects, and the exact number of people involved has not been confirmed.

Fitzgerald is a defensive back for the University of Miami and joined the Hurricanes after playing high school football in South Florida.
