A Miami woman has gone viral after sharing how a video of her date unexpectedly appeared on TikTok. The surprising part is that she was not upset about it at all.
In the viral clip, Kris (@kristina.elise) begins by doing her hair before explaining, “I just want you guys to see this video of me and my man on what I thought we were having was a casual night out to dinner. And we just looked really good.”
The video then cuts to footage posted by the TikTok account @whatrichpeoplearewearing. It shows Kris’ boyfriend stepping out of a car, walking around to her side, opening the door for her, and taking her hand.
Kris said she had been a little disappointed because she did not get any good photos of her outfit that night.
“Now I was a bit bummed because I did not get any good pictures of my outfit this night and my outfit was so cute but I just found this video and it’s made up for it,” she added.
“Also, the comments under this were hilarious.”
Kris did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Mary Sue via TikTok and email.
Where did the video come from?
The video originated from a TikTok account called What Rich People Are Wearing. As the name suggests, the account focuses on showcasing what wealthy people in the Miami area are wearing.
Similar to Kris’ clip, the videos on the account appear to show people identified as rich as they go about their daily lives. In most cases, the individuals seem unaware that they are being filmed.
The account has amassed 1 million followers on TikTok.
The account also did not immediately respond to requests for comment from The Mary Sue via TikTok.

Many commenters flooded the post with compliments for the couple. One wrote, “I love an attractive couple omg.”
Another asked, “How tall are you?” adding, “Shheeessh you look majestic.” A third agreed, saying, “Tall girls have the most lethal face card omg.”
However, some commenters expressed skepticism, with several referencing The Danish Deception.
