More Beautiful Weather and Clear Skies Continue Across North Texas

North Texas continues to enjoy beautiful weather and clear skies as temperatures remain above average. On Wednesday, DFW Airport recorded a low of 58°F, while daytime highs across the region were 10–15 degrees above normal. After sunset at 5:34 p.m., temperatures are expected to drop quickly.

On Thursday, morning lows will start around 59°F before sunrise at 6:48 a.m., with afternoon highs once again reaching the 80s. Breezy southerly winds may gust up to 20 mph, keeping conditions lively but pleasant.

A strong ridge of high pressure will maintain sunny, dry, and warmer-than-average conditions through the weekend. However, a dry, strong cold front is expected to move in, causing temperatures to fall by roughly 20 degrees from Saturday into Sunday.

By Sunday night, the cold air will settle, allowing Monday morning lows to dip into the 30s. Temperatures are expected to rebound by Monday afternoon, climbing back above average by midweek.
