MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Panola County deputies in Mississippi reported that one man is dead and another has been charged with murder following a Thursday assault.
Authorities responded to an assault in progress at a home on Butler Road, where they discovered 47-year-old Michael Wayne Ford dead in the driveway.
According to a 911 call, the alleged attacker was identified as Jamichael Ford. Deputies arrested Jamichael Ford as he exited the house.
He is now being held at the Panola County Detention Center on a first-degree murder charge.
