Police search Arbor View Apartments for suspect with felony warrants

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City Police Chief Ben Murry says there is no threat to the public as officers continue searching for a suspect wanted on multiple felony warrants.

According to a press release, Nebraska City Police, the Metro Area Fugitive Task Force, the Nebraska State Patrol and the Otoe County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search Monday at Arbor View Apartments and in the South Second Street area.

Despite the heavy law enforcement presence, officers were unable to locate the suspect. Authorities say the investigation remains active, but emphasize that there is no danger to the community.

On Nov. 24, 2025, law enforcement officers searched the areas around 1116 and 1216 S. 2nd Street in an effort to locate a subject with several felony warrants. The suspect was not found, and officers continue working to track the individual down. Because the case is ongoing, police are not releasing the suspect’s identity at this time.
