ILLINOIS — Authorities are looking for a man who robbed Longview Bank in Sidney on Monday afternoon, according to the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded around 1:45 p.m. after the suspect passed a note to a bank employee and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. Officials have not determined whether he was armed, but no injuries were reported.
Investigators are still on scene gathering DNA and fingerprint evidence as the search continues.
