Schnucks has issued a recall for its smoked mozzarella penne salad due to potential listeria contamination, the company announced in a Wednesday press release.
The recall affects stores in Missouri, Indiana, and Illinois, including three locations in Columbia and one in Jefferson City.
According to the release, the impacted products carry the UPC code 21287100000 and were sold on or after August 29. The recall also covers the same product sold in bulk from deli cases.
Customers who purchased the product are urged to discard it immediately or return it to a Schnucks store for a full refund.
