WEST POINT, Miss. (WTVA) — Authorities have arrested three suspects accused of stealing $46,000 worth of copper from a Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) facility in Clay County.
According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, the suspects have been identified as Christopher Hendon, 27, Michael McFalls, 23, and Madison Ray, 26.
Investigators said the thefts occurred in September and October and caused more than $1,000 in property damage.
Hendon and McFalls have been charged with grand larceny and malicious mischief, while Ray faces a charge of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Authorities added that Hendon and McFalls also face unrelated burglary of a dwelling charges.
Officials said the trio may also face federal charges as the investigation continues.
