A death investigation is underway after a man and woman were found dead inside a parked car in Crystal Lake on Tuesday morning.
According to officials, Crystal Lake police and fire crews responded to the 700 block of Coventry Court after receiving reports of two unresponsive individuals inside a vehicle parked on the roadway.
Upon arrival, authorities found a woman believed to be about 20 years old and a man around 32 years old. Police noted there were no visible signs of injury.
Despite attempts at life-saving measures, both were pronounced dead at the scene. The McHenry County Coroner’s Office was called in to assist with the investigation.
Authorities have not released the victims’ identities or possible causes of death.
