FLORIDA — Tampa police are investigating after an elderly couple was found dead inside their home Monday afternoon.
Officers responded to the residence on West Palmira Drive just before 3 p.m. after a friend requested a wellness check.
According to the Tampa Police Department, the friend hadn’t seen either resident for several months, raising concerns. When officers entered the home, they discovered both individuals dead.
