An Upstate New York man has been arrested after police said he violated an order of protection and skipped bail.
Patrick C. Tully, 39, of Northville, N.Y., was taken into custody Tuesday, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies said they were called to a business in the Town of Amsterdam on Friday after Tully allegedly sent a letter to a protected party at the location, violating an order of protection.
The Town of Amsterdam Court issued an arrest warrant.
Tully faces charges of second-degree criminal contempt and third-degree bail jumping, both Class A misdemeanors. He was arraigned in the Town of Amsterdam Court and sent to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail.
No additional information was released.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office previously said Tully had been arrested on several Montgomery County warrants between Aug. 29 and Sept. 11.
Amsterdam is in Montgomery County, roughly 35 miles northwest of Albany.
