Woman Arrested After Firing Shot at Car Following Large Parking Lot Fight in Davenport

DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) — A Davenport woman is facing charges after allegedly firing a gun at a car leaving the scene of a large fight.

Lmykalah R. Cooke, 27, was arrested Friday in connection with the incident, which took place on Oct. 17 in the 2000 block of Emerald Drive, according to an arrest affidavit.

When officers arrived, they found evidence of a large altercation involving at least nine people and recovered a single shell casing from the parking lot.

Police say as three people got into a car and began to drive away, Cooke fired one shot in their direction.

Cooke is charged with intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a Class C felony.

Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 7.
