LYNN HAVEN, Fla. (WMBB) — A Panama City woman was arrested Thursday for allegedly threatening to shoot classmates at Haney Technical College, leading to a campus lockdown.
Court documents state that administration staff received an anonymous tip claiming a student had threatened to kill everyone in a nursing class. The caller identified 25-year-old Chantrez Williams as the student who made the threat in front of several classmates.
Officers reported that Williams admitted to making the statement.
She was charged with disrupting a school function, and the college implemented a lockdown Thursday morning while authorities investigated.
