WAYNE — The Northeast Nebraska Community Action Partnership will hold the Wayne WIC and Immunization Clinic Tuesday, May 7, from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 516 Main St. in Wayne.

LCC students earn District music honors

SOUTH SIOUX CITY — On Friday, April 19, Laurel-Concord- Coleridge music students participated in the District Music Contest at South Sioux City Middle School.

These are the instrumental music results: The LCC Concert Band and LCC Jazz Band both received Excellent Ratings from all three judges.

PONCA - The Laurel-Concord-Coleridge track teams completed a busy week with the Lewis & Clark Conference Meet held here April 27. Earlier in the week the teams were in Creighton for an invitational which saw the Lady Bears bring home the runner-up hardware.

The conference meet was won by Ponca in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.

Blood drive set here for May 14

LAUREL — The LifeServe Blood Center will hold a blood drive in Laurel this month.

The Laurel community blood drive will be held Tuesday, May 14, from 2-6 p.m. at the Laurel Fire & Rescue Hall located at 402 U.S. Hwy. 20.

Bears have busy week on the links; Urwiler earns conference hardware

HARTINGTON — Laurel-Concord-Coleridge got busy over the past week as the golf team prepares for the upcoming district tournament May 14 in Hartington.

The Bears competed in the Lewis & Clark Conference Tournament in Randolph on April 29 and Bradyn Urwiler found himself in the medals at the end of the 18-hole affair.
