Hoefer medals at West Holt Golf Invite

ATKINSON — One Wolfpack golfer medaled Saturday, competing in the 2024 West Holt Boys Golf Invite.

Junior Kellan Hoefer carded an 18-hole score of 88 to finish 13th out of more than 50 golfers who competed on this day. 

Multiple medal winners dominate NVC Track Meet held Saturday

ATKINSON — Individual efforts highlighted Saturday’s Niobrara Valley Conference Track & Field competition held at West Holt High School.

EPPJ’s best effort was turned in by senior Blake Henn who placed second in the shot put. On the girls side, EPPJ’s 400 meter relay team of Camry Kittelson, Mady Kurpgeweit, Braelyn Martinsen and Kayton Zwingman placed second.

Charf, Eisenhauer chosen for all-star game

Rosters have been announced for the Northeast Nebraska 2024 All-Star Basketball games to be played May 31. Two members of the Wolfpack girls basketball team have been chosen to play in the game were Keyera Eisenhauer and Ashlynne Charf, Coach Randy Eisenhauer will be on the bench with Battle Creek’s Kobe Lade.

EPPJ track team shines at Creighton

CREIGHTON — If there ever was a day to standout at a track and field meet it was Tuesday, April 23.

Six teams converged on Creighton for their annual end of April track invite. And it was there that the Wolfpack made their presence known with some great individual performances.

Two medal at NVC Golf Tournament

NIOBRARA — Two Wolfpack golfers claimed medals Tuesday, April 23, competing in the Niobrara Valley Conference Golf Tournament.

The tournament was played at Tatanka, giving golfers their toughest course to conquer so far this year and they did just that against some tough competition.

Five bring home ‘gold’ from H/LHF quadrangular

Competing in a quadrangular last week, the Wolfpack track team brought home a slew of medals. The event was at Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family. In addition to the host school and EPPJ, other schools competing were Clarkson/Leigh and Aquinas Catholic. Among the Wolfpack athletes to win events were:

*Kayton Zwingman- 100 meter dash and 300 meter hurdles

*Blake Henn- shot put

*Dylan Kolm- 400 meter dash

Track teams find success at N-O Invite 

The Wolfpack boys placed sixth and the girls placed seventh at the Neligh-Oakdale Invite held Tuesday, April 9th, at Plainview High School. Blake Henn won the shot put. Dylon Lueking placed second in the 200 meter dash, third in the discus and fourth in the shot put to highlight the boys.

Lueking chosen to play in Sertoma 8-Man All Star Game

Wolfpack senior Dylon Lueking is going to have a very busy June.

Earlier this spring it had been announced that he would play in the Northeast Nebraska All-Star Classic football game in Norfolk. It was announced last week that he will also be playing in another all-star game.

Points few for EPPJ at Battle Creek

BATTLE CREEK — Points and medals proved to be elusive Thursday for the Wolfpack track team as they opened the season at the Battle Creek Invitational.

With a team depleted due to the State FFA Convention, only a handful of athletes saw action.
