Eight Chargers to rep Riverside in state track and field competition

The Riverside Chargers followed Jack Molt’s four-gold medal performance to a runner-up team finish in the Class D-5 District track and field competition May 8 at Fullerton. In all, Riverside had six boys and two girls qualify for the 2024 Nebraska State Track and Field Championships being held this week at Omaha Burke Stadium.

Big day for Boone Central in B-4 District

Boone Central teams were primed and ready to host the B-4 District track/field championships last Tuesday. And, for the first time in school history, both the boys and girls teams left the event as champions, holding off very talented teams from Blair by less than ten points each.

Cards get final tune-up for district at Ord Invite

The Boone Central Cardinal track/field teams competed in their final regular-season meet May 2 at the Ord Invitational. With district competition only a week away, Coach Susan Roberts decided not to enter her full varsity team and gave a number of JV athletes a chance to compete at the varsity level.

Riverside champions again in HLHF Bulldog Invite

Humphrey hosted its annual Bulldog Invitational track/field competition Wednesday, May 1, with area teams Riverside and Humphrey/ Lindsay Holy Family among teams competing. The competition provided a great day as the 2024 season winds down.
