Wolfpack qualify two for State Track Meet

NELIGH — In their final tuneup before districts, EPPJ golfers competed in a triangular Thursday at the Antelope Country Club.
The Wolfpack’s best score was turned in by junior Kellan Hoefer with a 49. One stroke behind him was senior Gage Thiessen with a 50. Jack Barlow carded a 52, Karson Kallhoff came in with a 54 and Michael Selting shot a 62.
NIOBRARA — Elgin Public-Pope John was among nine team who battled for the team championship Wednesday at the Niobrara/Verdigre Golf Tournament.
Karson Kallhoff led the Wolfpack with a (41-43) 84 to finish eighth in the individual competition.
ALBION — Wolfpack golfers were on the links again Monday, April 29, competing in a triangular held at the Albion Country Club.
Wolfpack sophomore Karson Kallhoff was medalist with a score of 44 over nine holes. Also breaking 50 was Kellan Hoefer with a 49.
HUMPHREY — For the first day of May, it felt more like March as the Wolfpack track team competed at the H/LHF Invite.

Points proved hard to come by for both the EPPJ boys and girls team.
ATKINSON — One Wolfpack golfer medaled Saturday, competing in the 2024 West Holt Boys Golf Invite.
Junior Kellan Hoefer carded an 18-hole score of 88 to finish 13th out of more than 50 golfers who competed on this day.
ATKINSON — Individual efforts highlighted Saturday’s Niobrara Valley Conference Track & Field competition held at West Holt High School.
EPPJ’s best effort was turned in by senior Blake Henn who placed second in the shot put. On the girls side, EPPJ’s 400 meter relay team of Camry Kittelson, Mady Kurpgeweit, Braelyn Martinsen and Kayton Zwingman placed second.
Rosters have been announced for the Northeast Nebraska 2024 All-Star Basketball games to be played May 31. Two members of the Wolfpack girls basketball team have been chosen to play in the game were Keyera Eisenhauer and Ashlynne Charf, Coach Randy Eisenhauer will be on the bench with Battle Creek’s Kobe Lade.
CREIGHTON — If there ever was a day to standout at a track and field meet it was Tuesday, April 23.
Six teams converged on Creighton for their annual end of April track invite. And it was there that the Wolfpack made their presence known with some great individual performances.
