KEARNEY — Rock n’ Roll bands, back in the day when I knew more about music than anything else, would put out new albums and tour every year. In their heyday, they would fill the venue they were playing in, give the fans what they want and then do it all again down the road somewhere in a day or two, maybe three.
ATKINSON — Jumping out to a nine to one lead to start the game, West Holt never looked back as they claimed a 60 to 39 victory in boys basketball action Friday night.
The Wolfpack quickly got into foul trouble and the Huskies used their height advantage to pull away.
The Elgin Eliminators were all smiles, donning medals after winning the league championship Saturday in O’Neill. The team went 4-0 in the tournament, beating Summerland in the championship game.
